The Scofield Study Bible III, NKJV, Large Print Edition: New King James Version, Red Letter

This is a very well-produced Bible, with copious notes, maps, diagrams etc., It is what it says it is - Large Print. Inevitably, some care has to be taken when working through the pages, but this is an excellent example of the NIV. Not only that, but at under £40, it was an absolute steal, so much so that having bought one for my wife, I also bought on for myself. Highly recommended.

The Bible came in Excellent condition and in good time.Scofield study notes are brief but helpfull and the layout on this Bible is to me much better than the older Scofield.Shame it is not a KJV but I am Fairly happy with the NKJV.

This is the best study bible i;ve ever had.It does;nt matter what you choose to study in the bible, wether a person,a chapter,or an area, or the Blood of Christ, Prayer. This Bible will give you everything you need.There.s so many study helps,maps, concordance,outline of every book in the Bible.I just cannot put it down. thumb index,side column ref,Greek and Hebrew text at the bottom of the page, Would certainly reccomend this edition.

I can't really review a Bible :) but the Schofield study version is a good objective study Bible, that I have used before.This particular Bible took a bit of time to come in (wasn't in stock, even though the site said otherwise - lost a star there), but is well bound, paper quality, etc., is in good shape. I still can't figure out if the leather is genuine or bonded, but it looks sound.Certainly recommended for serious study.

This is a very well bound and strong large print bible, with helpful study notes but not too many of them so the study guide does not make simply reading the text difficult. I am not sure how larger print most large print bibles come in though, and although the print is larger than a standard NIV, it is still not larger than an ordinary book. Also the study guide is in smaller print than the main text, so this makes it more difficult to read for those like me who wanted the larger print to make it clearer to read easily. I would recommend it to a friend but not one whose eyesite was particularly poor, for example to an elderly person.
