Not sure how I missed getting a Gemini earlier....... I should have. Great design by Ray Laconico. Definitely a Goldilocks flipper especially for EDC. Super knife at a very reasonable price!

This is a great knife for a great price. The handle is beautiful and entire knife is well made. Stropped it a few times and now it is razor sharp. The way it opens is awsome and is a really nice assisted opening, very smooth. I love flicking it open and hearing and seeing it just fly open. You won't regret tjis knife, if your thinking of getting it, just do it.

Simple, minimal, comparatibly lightwieght, and just stylish, I prefer mine clipless.Very well done, when you hold it, you will know. I have been nothing but impressed with Kizer, and Ruike and Sanraemu knives this being my first kizer, I will be buying more, I am really just super happy with this knife.and I didnt know it was by my favorite knife designer!Edit: update came back to continue to rave about this design,and manufacture, be abusing this knife and its holding up, and looking good doing it. I love this knife the action is extremely good and it has a strong d tent so I feel safe having it in my pocket Blade cuts really good and holds an edge I highly recommend this one my only issue is that the scales are a bit square but I rounded off the g10 area to give a bit more contour this knife is one of my favorites

N690 is a higher quality steel than found in most of the other pocket knives in $30-40 price range. Kizer is a well established manufacturer so at the sale price this was a great buy to me.Pros-Razor sharp out of the box. Will shave arm hair with little effort.-Great value for a high performing steel.-Sized right for a EDC, an appropriately weighted.ConsBe careful when closing it as you can easily cut yourself as this is a liner lock.The carbon fiber handle will flex if you exert pressure on it. It makes me wonder about longevity of this knife but hey it was only $30.The blade is a fingerprint magnet if that bothers you.Quality control could be better. The knife I got had a very greasy handle making it hard to grip. Required a good amount of washing to get it to off. The box it came in had aesthetic damage to it and wasn't sealed.If you want something with a strong grip then this is not the knife for you regardless because of the carbon fiber handle.

I bought this during the Kizer summer sale. Excellent price for a budget but good quality knife. The carbon fiber is standard Kizer so if you have any other kizer carbon fiber, expect the same quality (which is: Very Good). Knife came sharp, well centered and is easy to deploy w/ a good detent. It's smallish but not tiny and has a reversible, deep carry clip. These all count for strengths in my book. The clip is not inset but didn't seem to catch on my pockets/clothing.Downsides that dropped the rating? There's no gimping on the top of the blade. The carbon fiber is grippy but the lack of gimping makes it a bit harder to handle when cutting in certain situations. There is a choile but its very very small and not very deep. You'll have maybe one or two sharpenings before that becomes an issue. Another small issue is that the pocket clip bent within a week or two. I've bent it back but it just won't hold as well. I'll replace it but that eats up some of the savings.I also bought the red version of this knife and enjoy it more but there are the same issues w/ the choile and gimping. The clip hasn't bent yet but I carry it less (it's very noticeable) so idk if that will become an issue or not.All in all, I guess I'm still glad I bought it. It helps that it was such a great price ($30'ish). I'm sure once I've replaced the clip I'll feel much better about it.

I’ve had the Kizer Gemini for a couple of weeks now. I know it’s a bit early for a review, but here is my impression after edc . The knife is absolute quality!The action is like butter. It came shaving sharp and has held its edge well. I haven’t had any of the problems a few of the reviews have mentioned. The blade is perfectly centered. Lock up is good. Action is great! I understand a few knives with less than stellar reviews may have slipped through the quality control. The knife I received is very impressive. Mine has carbon fiber scales and was on sale for half price! Even at full price, this is an awesome knife. Keizer is one of the best knives I’ve had from China.

Yep it’s that good. Typical Kizer sharp and centered blade. Scales are really nice, It’s better then a higher end Gemini imo. Lockup is good, liner lock has amazing access and it loosens up as you use it for the price amazing materials.
