So before I bought this, I already had 2 Switches.My 1st being the older, classic blue and red joycon switch.The 2nd being the oled version.The more I played on the oled, the more I noticed how better it felt to play on.The bigger and brighter screen is noticeably nicer to use and play onI knew I had to get a 2nd oled at some point.I'm a big pokemon fan too so this switch version obviously got my attention.It went ahead and got it for myself.I'm well aware that this is just a dressed up version of the oled, but I still love it.The pokemon scarlet/violet stylized dock and switch are really nice to look at.If I remember correctly, this cost the same as a standard oled version anyway.At least at the time I bought up.Buying another white oled version would've been way less exciting too.I use this mainly to play on my Scarlet version and it's held up just fine, no issues.Absolutely recommend this if ur wanting another switch, or want an oled version thats a bit different.

Already have original switch bought in 2019, but the more I used it in handheld mode the more I felt the battery was inadequate. I heard about the Oled and didn't think much of it, I only jumped to get this since amazon had it in-stock, if it wasn't available I would not care and just would of gotten a standard white later on.This was worth the upgrade, everything looks and feel premium, I will definitely be using this more for handheld gaming.The Dock looks amazing, has a gloss look to it, its white with the two Pokemon embossed in front.P.S: I actually thought amazon would give the bad news and cancel my order, since they shipped it the day before that's due, what's funny is I would of gotten it delivered end of November as that's the original date, but Amazon pulled through and kept changing delivery date to the earliest.I'm not a collector, I just wanted to get ready to upgrade from launch model and play Pokemon Scarlet handheld late this month.

Despite a couple of dings on the corners of the box, the Pokémon Nintendo Switch OLED shines where it counts. The console itself is a powerhouse, delivering snappy performance and phenomenal gameplay across the board. I love this exclusive Switch OLED! The colors and accessories look great, and it came on time and as described. The condition it came in was as promised and everything functions as it should. The only thing is, if you live in the US, you may not get a charger that works in our outlets. This was probably an oversight on my part whilst reading the product description, so I’m not upset, I also have two extra switch chargers anyway, but if you’re like me and don’t always pay attention just be mindful that you maybe be getting a bundle with a charger intended for a different type of electrical outlet. I have no doubt that it works, of course, I just can’t plug it into any socket in my house haha.

This ended up not staying connected to the net. Our 3 other oled switches in the house do not have this issues, so it's not net related but a hardware problem. ALSO it ended up being a Japanese model brought over. While the systems are not region locked when trying to get repaired from Nintendo they stated they will not repair systems from another region. While they would honor the 1 year warranty it was by proxy of replacement only and could not guarantee what would come back would be the special edition pokemon system. It could be a standard edition. I'm not sure many would go out of their way to buy a special edition system to chance if it needed repairs to not get that same system in return. I returned it and found at my local gamestop this pokemon edition for MRSP. Now if I need repairs they will actually repair it not just replace.US based switches first three letters of the serial will end in W, this system ended in J. Buyers beware.
