Earthquake Sound ACS 3.0 3-inch In-Ceiling Speaker (White, Single)

If you need inconspicuous in-ceiling speakers, these are a great set. They have a good sound replication curve for their size, but the final acoustic signature depends heavily on the characteristics of your installation.If they are installed in a closed-back environment, you will get much better response on the low end. However, you shouldn't expect to get resonating lows out of these speakers no matter how you install them. If you need a quality sound distribution, be sure to augment these speakers with a small sub or pair of larger speakers elsewhere.Our speakers are installed in a dining room ceiling. We use them almost exclusively during mealtimes and only then to play light background music for eating. (Because, seriously, who wants to hear the sounds of people chomping) For this application, having the speakers biased towards the highs is not a problem since the volume and types of music being played don't benefit much from low-end power.

Wish it had a different in ceiling clip system as it keeps slowly sitting away from ceiling

Installed 4 of these in the ceiling of my wife's 650 sq foot hair salon. Cranked up, they're pretty loud! Good sound quality. Could use a little more bottom end, but that's no big deal. When she has them on during the day just for background music, they're awesome. Especially for the price.

Great speakers. They are smaller than I expected, but they work well, and I have no complaints so far. The ceiling mount was easy.
