Best Non Dairy milk!
I love making hot chocolate with this milk, it's the best non dairy milk for when you need a thicker milk in my opinion.

tastes good in everything I have used it in
Like having this on hand for so many things. It is good in my cocoa and nice for overnight oats.Easier to store being shelf stable vs cold carton of the non evap kind in the fridge.Even tried it in a few baked goods instead of regular evaporated milk and it works just as well.I did not care for the Coconut ginger flavor packet that comes with it.Thankfully that was just a single pack of something to try with this I guess.Overall it is a good product for me to ve using in my household.

Thicker and slightly stronger flavor than regular oat milk. No calcium.
I was curious about this because I am lactose intolerant. It is dairy free.It contains oat milk (water, oats 20%), virgin coconut oil, coconut sugar, gar gum and sea salt. No dairy. No lactose. It comes in a 12.2 ounce can. The lid has a tab for easy opening. No can opener necessary.Consistency:This is thicker than normal oat or almond milk. The consistency reminds me of canned coconut milk when it is completely stirred. To taste:I was curious what this would taste like. It has sugar in it. (no fake stuff)It is not overly sweet. The sweetness level reminds me of what a regular milk would be.It is rather neutral in flavor. It does taste "oaty".It has a creamy consistency in my mouth. Reminding me of a cream. It is very smooth like a cream.I am not making any recipes that call for evaporated milk at this time. Most are desserts and since this is January, I am taking a small break from desserts!I used this in my chicory (coffee like) drink. This is a WONDERFUL substitute for non dairy creamer. It thickened my drink with only 15 calories per TWO tablespoons. It doesn't make the drink sweeter or change the flavor but it tasted creamier. I enjoyed it a lot.Easy 5 stars:The price is higher than I would expectbut I pay $6 now for just non dairy creamer. The texture is great.Flavor is pretty neutral. I can taste the oatiness.

Dented cans
Five of the six cans were dented, each in a different place so not damaged in this shipping. Dented cans can have micro fractures which may compromise the contents.

Makes a great dairy-free tapioca pudding
This is a case of dairy-free evaporated milk made from oats. The ingredients are: water, oats, coconut oil, sugar, guar gum, and salt. According to the label, 1 serving is 2 Tbsp, and there are 12 servings per can. One serving provides 15 calories, 1 g of fat, 0 g of protein, and 10 mg of sodium. The label says there’s no carbs, but that may be a technicality of rounding, since there clearly ARE carbs in a product made with sugar and grains, but maybe less than 1 g per Tbs serving, so they can get away with calling it 0 g. The cans are metal and come with easy-open pull tabs on the top, so you don’t need a can opener. The product was made in Thailand.I like the convenience of a totally dairy-free condensed milk product. Since I don’t tolerate dairy, I always struggle with substitutions for recipes that call for condensed milk. This product makes a great substitution for my favorite tapioca pudding recipe. It has a noticeable but pleasant oat flavor that goes well with tapioca. The texture is just right. I also like the pop-top cans, which are much more convenient than cans that you need an opener for. Overall, this is a great option for dairy-free households.

Great as a substitute
This makes a great quiche. That's really the only thing I ever use evaporated milk for, but we make a lot of quiches and this is excellent. I use one can, three eggs, two cups of shredded cheese, and thyme to season. Bake at 370 for 40 minutes. Because my egg sizes often vary a little bit, I start checking it after 40 minutes and just keep it in until it's done. I check it like a cake after the top is slightly brown and 40 minutes has passed, putting a probe in the middle and when it came comes out clean, maybe a little wet with water but no egg, then it's done. This is also good in chicken pot pie and soups.
