Hi! So I purchased this iPad case for my 10th gen back in November of 2022! And I’m still using it almost daily for college in 2025! I have absolutely loved this case, I wanted the portfolio case but love the functionality of it as I can take it off when I’m not using it, although it doesn’t have a spot to hold an Apple Pencil which it isnt advertised as doing - just mentioning in case it matters. The cover also doubles as a stand which can be done in atleast two different ways, which I really like. My case has gotten a couple of good scratches on the back throughout the years but I’m very rough with my iPad so the case it self has held up really well, it still fits really well, no discoloration and honestly no issues! It feels and looks really nice and the case itself feels high quality for the price! I wanna get my little sister one of these cases!

I use this case with an Apple iPad 10th gen (10.9 inch screen, Apple’s latest base model iPad).Pros: This is the functional aesthetic case of my dreams! I like this case so much that I will be buying a second one to put in storage. I have spent months searching for a hybrid iPad 10 case that has a protective flap for when my iPad is not being used, but allows me to take the flap off to teach; does not have a spot for Apple Pencil storage; has thin enough corners to accommodate my hand strap while I’m teaching; and fits in my custom sewn storage bag. This is it! The case’s light pink color is aesthetically pleasing while the sturdy materials provide significant protection to my device. I have accidentally dropped my iPad several times since buying this case, and the rubber corners have prevented hard impacts. It was very difficult to find a hybrid case without an Apple Pencil storage slot. I’ve found that these slots add unnecessary bulk to iPad cases because Apple Pencils never fit if they are in protective covers. My Apple Pencil is in a protective cover, so I specifically wanted an iPad case that does not have a pencil slot. This case does everything that is advertised, and more. I am so happy to have found it!Cons: The back of the case shows streaks on the inside and outside when I clean it with a wet wipe. The next cons are entirely subjective. I would like to see the silver-colored metal strip with the ESR logo removed from the back, since it clashes with the case’s overall aesthetic. I would also like to see more color options for this case: specifically, beige. However, these are small inconveniences and they are easy to get over.Final recommendation: 5/5 stars! Get one before they’re sold out. Good iPad 10th gen cases are difficult to find.

This case with the magnetically detachable cover is very well made, it's a perfect fit for my iPad 10th gen. Sometimes I have to figure out with a couple of tries how to fold it for viewing or typing. ESR products never let me down, I have purchased several for my devices.

I bought this case due to the magnetic removable cover that gives the product utility. It's a great concept, but the materials may not be durable for long term usage. You can register for 2 years warranty, but I'm not sure what kind of hoops I gotta run through to claim that.The case fit perfectly so no complaintsA minor thing is the back opaque color. With my blue iPad, it looks purple on the back with the case on.

Fits perfectly and with a chic, low profile appearance. The magnet holds well on the side of iPad making installation easy and maintaining a good hold during use.

Had been looking for a case for my iPad 10th generation as I decided against upgrading to the newly released 11th generation which is basically the same. The New York Times review site Wirecutter listed this as their budget pick. It is worth every penny and at $25 is a third less than the Apple case. I owned the Apple case for an older iPad and frankly this one is better. Being able to detach the cover is an added plus as it reduces the weight whilst using it.

This review is for the ESR Hybrid Trifold Case Compatible with iPad 10th Generation (2022). I had a case with a removable cover for my first iPad (which was first generation), but hadn’t been able to find another for subsequent generations. So I was excited to find this case because the non-removable covers always made it hard to use for FaceTime, and for just taking photos or videos in general. As almost everyone else has noted, though, fit isn’t great. Actually, that’s not quite true. The iPad fits tightly in the case, but the kind of plastic used is too flexible, and it’s too thin on the corners and along the side. Just putting it on left a gap by the on/off button that I’m sure will just get worse as time goes on. I just installed it last night, and have only used it a few times this morning, and it already looks looser. Unfortunately, the same gap runs along the whole length of the side away from where the cover attaches.On the plus side, I love the detachable cover, although it does add a fair amount of extra weight. I assume that’s because of the very powerful magnet.Do I recommend it? Not without reservations, unless the removable cover trumps the imperfect fit in your eyes, or if your experience with similar covered cases has been unsatisfactory.UPDATE 15 May, 2023: I received an email from the seller today (the day after I posted my review), asking for photos of the problem. I sent them a few more photos and I'm waiting hear back from them. So, unless I just happened to get 2 "bad" ones, (I also bought one for my wife), I'll just hold on to these until they become unusable. But kudos to the seller for reaching out so quickly, anyway. Not a lot of manufacturers bother to follow-up these days.UPDATE 24 May, 2023: The day after I submitted my 1st review, the manufacturer sent me 2 new cases to try. They told me to keep the original ones, instead of going thru the hassle of sending them back. I tried the 2nd set and, I’m sorry to say, they had the same problem. The very day after my 1st update, they told me to keep all 4 cases and they refunded my money 🤯. I didn’t need to beg or cajole them to do it, they offered. I really respect the attitude and their desire to make me happy. If you want a case for your iPad 10th Gen, and don’t mind a barely noticeable gap along the side, I highly recommend Solodream’s case. They have been great to work with.UPDATE 27 May, 2023: My comments about this case remain the same, but I feel I have to comment more about Solodream’s Customer Service. In my 60 years as a consumer, (dating all the way back to when I used to “borrow” a quarter from my mom’s purse to buy an ice cream cone at the Dairy Mart down the hill), I’ve never been so impressed. I almost hate to write this update in case someone reads it and decides to write a bad review just to get free stuff. I got another email from them saying they would still refund my money AND let me keep all 4 of the cases I bought. PLUS, they offered to send me a product of equal value for being less-than-fully satisfied with the case. They are truly customer-centered, and I highly recommend that you check out some of their other products, using the link to their company site on this page. I’m sure their other products are at LEAST as good as any others you’ll find on Amazon, but you’d have the comfort of knowing that they’ll do everything in their power to please you as a customer.
