Not a good one for Hawaiian heat
Well, I cannot say I’m impressed. It’s kind of a cheap plastic like a toy, and in Hawaiian heat you don’t even know it’s on. I think $10 would have been a more appropriate price. I see lots of great reviews, though, so I’m guessing it’s a great office or home desk product where it’s a more moderate temperature; just not here in my stuffy bathroom, which is what I got it for. If you want it for your desk at work, I’d say get it if your not too hot. It literally doesn’t make a sound and it is very small.

Works as expected
This is a USB-powered desktop mini-fan for the office or travel. The fan is a cylinder that measures 4.75” long and is 4.75” in diameter; it weighs 8 oz. It is mounted on a single metal lever so that it can be tilted up or down as needed. The fan is powered by USB, with an attached 36” long USB A cable (USB transformer not included). The USB power source must supply 5V. The fan blades are plastic and are covered by plastic grilles for safety. The fan has a single control button on the top which cycles through low speed, high speed, and off. The product was made in China.I find this little fan quite useful for around the office. It produces a pleasant breeze which can be very refreshing on an oppressive day. With its diminutive size, it doesn’t move a lot of air around, so this is not the fan to cool an entire room. But it is also very quiet, making less noise than the cooling fan built into my desktop computer. The fan works fine when plugged into the USB port on my monitor or laptop. It also works with a standard USB (phone) charging transformer. Since it is USB powered, I can take it overseas without any need for special power plugs or converters. Overall, this is a quiet-fan that produces a small breeze, suitable for desktop use or travel.

Died after 4 months - not worth the $$
I really tried to like this fan.. a) it's not strong at all - prepare for a light breeze b) it died.. a rather long and dramatic death. It is quiet though? That's the only plus when you're in the workplace. Otherwise - really, really not worth the money for the quality you're getting.

Good breeze without blowing things around
This really is a great little fan.Not quite what I expected but, I've come to fall in love with it in the last couple weeks.Believe me, I'm as surprised as you I'm giving this 5 stars. I mean, it's a fan.First, it Really light.Weighs virtually nothing. Like as much as a pack of gumNext, it does not come with an electrical outlet plug. It's a USB designed to plug into your laptop.Yes, you could plug it into any extra USB plug adapters you have lying around. but,if it's going in your laptop, it's taking your charge. There were no directions in, or on, my box.So you should know, the power/speed control is touch activated on the top.As far as air & sound, there are 2 speeds.Setting one has a good breeze & soft, white noise. That is the only one I use. It relaxes me & doesn't blow my hair around.Circulates the air, keeps me comfy. Kinda forget it's there.Setting 2 is loud. Not noisy, rumbly & mechanical.More like driving with the windows down at 55.Has about the same breeze but somehow, again doesn't blow my hair around. The arm is pretty reliable.Moves 180 radius to face the fan straight up towards the ceiling.Whether you're looking to feel a fresh breeze while working or watching Neflix,This is an easy gadget, that also works great on a nighstand.Takes up no room & is relaxing to doze off.I was on the fence giving this 5 stars as it reminds me of something you'd see in a toy store. But it's held it's own under constant use & has become a source of comfort.Plus, at the current price point ( under 20) feel like the ends meets the means. If it fails me, I'll let you know but now that I've tried it,I would easily buy another is aethetics weren't an issue.

Doesn’t last long
I loved mine until it stopped working at about 5 months.

Delightfully Practical
One of those handy travel items one should keep around. If you're headed someplace warm that lacks outlets or sleeping in your car or even t tent, this is glorious to have. Useful when visiting someone where you might want a small breeze when you sleep without lugging a large fan along.Plug it into a "juice box" battery pack and you've got a decent personal breeze on demand.Blades are completely enclosed unlike some small USB fans so this is safe around small children. It is somewhat adjustable with a little arm underneath to prop it up and has two speeds via a small electronic button on the top of the barrel. The latter is the only negative as it is too easy to touch the button spot when moving or adjusting the fan. There is no tactile distinction of any sort so it could be frustrating to someone blind or anyone trying to work it in the dark.A spot of tape or a dot of white glue will eliminate this problem but it's one the maker should have anticipated. There's even a parts list although no info on how to take the fan apart. The grills appear to be glue don so I didn't try too hard to see if you could get it apart enough to replace the fan blade or motor.Doesn't move a monster amount of air but with a 2 watt motor, one cannot expect tornadoes. It should run a good long while on a battery pack, depending on size.

Adequate but low power, slightly noisy, good to have.
Given that this consumes only 2 watts at 5 volts and is USB-powered, it does just fine. You'll find that either speed provides a usable movement of air at maybe 2 feet away. Beyond that not very noticeable. Both speeds are slightly noisy in a quiet office, in a large office you might hardly notice the sound. It appears there are two motors and fan blades inside, front and back. Integrated USB cable is short, around 1.5 feet. On top is a non-illuminated touch switch, easy to access. The L-stand lets you tilt a reasonable amount, it can also be tied or hooked onto something on your wall.Consider that this fan could be used for camping, while having a drink in the sun, etc. simply by adding a portable lithium power bank. This alone could make it quite worthwhile.
