This battery adds that needed additional play time when using the Switch Lite. Because it clips onto the Switch Lite and holds tight, you can use it for gaming on the go with the battery attached giving you hours more play time. The battery arrived 3/4 charged but I connected it to a USB charger with the included USB-A to USB-C cable and topped it up before the first use. There is a clip which can be attached or removed from the battery allowing you to lock the battery onto the back of the Switch Lite. Be aware that the battery will not work with a case for the Switch Lite as it fits nice and snug with no case installed. There is an integrated USB-C cable which you connect to your Switch Lite and you can increase your gaming by 4-8 hours (according to the documentation). I attached it for a transcontinental flight while playing Zelda BOTW and the Switch stayed on for the entire flight without an issue and the battery on the Switch was still showing 100% charge. The battery doesn't add too much overall weight for the much need battery life gain and I never found it to get hot, warm yes but never excessive. I like the fact that the clip for attaching the battery has holes in the right places to not reduce airflow to the Switch.

I found this product to be exactly what I needed. It works exactly as advertised. I would recommend this to anyone who has a Nintendo Switch or to anyone who doesn't. I have personally purchased two of these. Well done.

The media could not be loaded.  My first reaction to the product was that it was mainly used for the Switch Lite, easy to attach to it and easy to use with no problems. If you did not need to charge your switch, you could just detach the battery and use it as a regular portable changer instead. It also has a build in USB C cable which is helpful if you don't have one on you.

I didn't like how the portable charger didn't charge my devices for a long time.

Great product. Battery life is good, but could be better. With that being said, if you have the original battery pack for the bigger switch; it will fit on the switch lite adapter. Same slot size and function. It may be worth buying this and getting the bigger switch one for another battery that has twice the capacity and fits perfectly.You still need the switch lite version for the battery clip adapter that fits on the switch lite.

Super handy and compact, making play during long travels very convenient.

This charger seems well built and works exactly as described. The big issue is the battery pack is not large enough to fully charge the switch lite. If you start using the battery pack at around 35 percent it will take your switch lite to 100 percent but any lower and it just won’t happen.

It fits exactly on the switch lite with no additional error. The only issue is that their is a larger battery that is for the switch and it is not available for the switch lite.
