McCrawsGiant Taffy, 24 count

This candy is great, it really brings back memories. I think some of the flavors are new, because I don't remember all of these flavors. Plus it's a little more sticky than the older candy, but it's still very tasty. I really enjoyed this purchase, I shared it with all the members that I'm currently deployed with right now. This was great, and a good candy.

So glad that I found this taffy. I have looked for it for a long time. It used to be carried in most candy stores, but is hard to find now. Only problem with this batch was that most of them had been melted onto the wrapper. I don't know if this means they were too fresh or that they were shipped when the weather was too warm. Still delicious, though.

It was what I remembered but just smaller than the original size I was use to.

SAVE YOUR MONEY, this is terrible. I just received mine and ate two pieces of it. This IS NOT like what I had when I was a kid. First, it sticks to the paper, doesn't peel away like it should. Secondly, the texture is not the same, its hard , you can actually taste the sugar granules in it and has a oily taste to it. I will be feeding the rest to the deer. You can buy 5 pounds of good ole salt water taffy on here for what I paid for this.

I was expecting solid flavors. . Orange, grape, banana and pink which I think is cherry or stawberry... I would order more if I could get them in solid colors n flavors which I mentioned above... I don't want anymore multiple flavors...

I enjoyed this taffy immensely and due to my poor judgmental skills I ate the entire 24 bars of taffy in one sitting and became ill. Other than having to vomit these candies up, I loved them.

They seemed to have recently changed the recipe on these. They used to get kind of hard when stale, and came lightly floured to not stick to the wax paper, but still would at times. The flavor was good, and it was the classic stuff I grew up with. Now the flavor is weird, tastes chemically, it stays soft, and the wrapper is no longer waxed paper, but a plastic coated paper. I miss my old formula :-(
