Ceramic Bearings are Essential
I love the Look Keos, but got tired of burning through the steel bearings. The ceramic bearings feel better and I'm hoping will far outlast the old pedals.

Terrible
When I purchased these pedals I was confident that I was buying from a company steeped in tradition and would get a quality product. Not so much. These pedals creak incessantly!!! I started with the grip cleats and they creaked. Switched to the regular cleats and they creaked. Tried the online hacks to stop it and they still creak. My worst bike part purchase to date.

3rd pair due to bearings going bad
This is my 3rd pair of Blades. The two previous pair had the bearing wear out after about a year…. I was a boneheaded and just bought a 3rd pair hoping they were the newest design with the slotted plate cover. They are not so sadly I’ll likely have the same bearing issue with in the next 12 months. 🙁

New design of cleat contact point
I like the new steel plate design In the 2020 version with raised sides to limit past rocking felling in the older generation. If you like carbons, you will like these.

The worst road pedals to clip in
This design is maybe good for race but whe you need to unclip and clip back in multiple times on your ride it's the worst pedal you can choose. Super difficult to find that front receptacle because it's super small and pedal always rotates so you clips in only back portion of the clit. Super annoying and painful! SWITCHING BACK TO ULTEGRA

Not reliable and zero Client Services from LOOK
In January 2024 I bought (via Amazon) a pair of Look Keo Blade Carbon pedals. After 2 or 3 months of trouble-free service, it is now almost impossible to unclip the shoes. I changed the cleats under my shoes, same problem. I added a wedge between the shoe and the cleats, same problem.Amazon are not taking them back (only one month window period for returning) and LOOK will not accept them as well. Not a great outcome for apair of pedals at £150!!!AVOID BUYING LOOK Cycle equipement on AMAZON.
