Champion Sports Floor Marking Vinyl Tape for Athletics and Social Distancing - Multiple Colors and Lengths

I’m recovering from a stroke and doing lots of walking exercises in my home. I wanted to create a feature that they have at my therapy gym, a ladder shaped grid that helps me take longer, more uniform steps. I have luxury vinyl plank flooring and I thought it would tolerate tape pretty well, but I wanted something that would last without ruining the floor. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but so far, it’s holding up well and even when cleaned with my steam floor cleaner. So far no sign of peeling off despite the fact that it’s in my hallway and gets a fair amount of foot traffic I’m very happy to have found this product and hopeful that it’s going to last for as long as I need it, and then allow me to pull it off with no residue or damage to the flooring. I would definitely recommend this product.Updating: after three months, it’s still working perfectly. No peeling, and surviving regular cleaning with a steam cleaner. It’s a great product! Inexpensive, easy to apply, and perfect for semi-permanent markings on a vinyl plank floor. I couldn’t be happier with it.

My father-in-law is staying with us and has some trouble with his eyesight. My wife was concerned that he could fall down the (hardwood) stairs in the morning due to low visibility, so she put some random tape on the floor to mark the bottom of the steps. The tape turned out to be mounting tape for picture frames and was absolutely terrible to remove from the floor. After that, I started looking for a tape meant for floors that wouldn't damage hardwood, and this fit perfectly. (Basketball courts! Why didn't I think of that before!)The yellow color has decent visibility (though something reflective might be better). But better is the fact that it is easy to put down and to take off again. The adhesion is great so far -- it's been a couple months with no sign of peeling, sliding, or tearing. The backing is rubbery, so I'm pretty confident that when it does eventually fail I'll be able to peel it off easily and replace it. I only needed to use about six feet to mark both the top and bottom of the stairs, so the roll will last a long time. And it's pretty inexpensive compared to some other specialty floor tapes I've seen on here.So, I know I have kind of an unusual use case, but this tape has worked really well so far.

Used to mark off spaces on the floor for a dog show. Tape stayed in place and was easily removed when the event was over.

I use this tape to cover seems between large exercise rubber flooring and it works great! Very easy to apply, has great sticking power and it blends right into the rubber mats. You can easily see where the tape is but it looks clean and helps to mend tripping hazard

This is the tape I needed to make a window look like it was framed. The vinyl is strong and easy to peel off the roll. It was carefully packaged and clean. It's a winner!

I primarily use this to mark the floor so my students can leave my chairs straight because I hate the chaos of crooked chairs.It leaves absolutely no residue when it is time to be peeled up and it’s very easy to put down and take off at the end of the year.Chairs and tiny fingers do pull it up over time, but I can go half the school year before I feel like I need to replace it.

This tape is about as thick as electrical tape but narrower. It sticks alright to what I used it on put I doubt it would last long on a floor. The very edge of the tape is sticky and will probably attract dust over time. Overall it is alright but nothing great.

The roll is so much bigger than you'd buy at the local home improvement store.

I bought this to put on the edge of my wooden stairs because it was too hard to see where the stair ended and the next one began. It looks classy in my newly built house and has succeeded in making the stairs safe for me to use. I rolled out about 1.5 feet and stuck it on the edge of each stair. Sometimes it was crooked, so I just peeled it back and tried again. It looks like it will stay stuck firmly which was important to me, but only time will tell. It is kind of rubbery/plastic feeling, like electrical tape.
