Kessaku Index Tabs Cutting Board 4 Piece Mat Set - Double Thick 2mm Durable, Lightweight & Flexible, Non-Slip Bottom, 12x15-Inches

The main body of the Kessaku mats measures 15 inches by 11 inches; the index tabs add another inch, bringing the overall width to 12 inches. While I don’t have any need for the index tabs, they don’t interfere with my use of the chopping mats. At 2 mm thick, these mats are about twice the thickness of standard flexible chopping mats. The extra thickness makes them much more durable than thin chopping mats, and a useful alternative to thicker and heavier rigid cutting boards. The top side of the Kessaku mat has a small amount of texture to it and is intended to be the cutting side; the bottom side is more deeply textured than any other plastic mat I have used, and is intended to provide a non-slip base, not a cutting surface.Like virtually all plastic chopping mats and cutting boards, these cannot be used as hot pads. Most plastic chopping mats will deform or melt if subjected to temperatures much above 150 degrees F. Even boiling water can deform many plastic chopping mats. The Kessaku mats are labeled as dishwasher safe, but only if dishwasher temperature remains below 150 degrees F. If your water heater is set to a higher temperature or if the dry cycle exceeds 150 degrees F, the mats could be deformed. I avoid such problems by always doing a hand wash on plastic chopping mats and most plastic cutting boards.

We have used the cutting board/mat slightly over three weeks. But we can barely notice any knife marks on the surface. Cleaning of the mat is quick and easy: sliding it into the sink, and soapy water will take care of it. The four cutting mats show highly lively and spirited colors to brighten your day, but yellow, blue, green and red colors are apparently meant for poultry, fish, vegetable and meat, respectively. We, however, used only one color for everything so far, as cleaning is uncomplicated and the drying time is so short. The mat has kept its original shape very well without warping because of its heavy thickness unlike many other currently available brands. Are we happy with the set of cutting mats? Oh, yes, you bet.

These cutting boards are awesome! I started using these flimsy plastic cutting boards I had in my kitchen. After using them a couple of times you could see scratch marks and cut marks on them, so I went to Amazon to start the search for more. I found these and I hit the jackpot. These are not only sturdy they have grip on one side to keep them from moving. After you finish cutting your vegetables 🍅 or meat 🥩 you pick the board up and transfer it to bowl or stove they aren’t flimsy at all. You will love ❤️ them as much as I do. Although these cutting mats are not flexible enough for me to be able to bend them, I really appreciate the excellent quality, thickness, non-slip feature, bright colors and perfect size. I've had the thinner, more flexible ones and I prefer -by far- these Kessaku Index Tabs cutting mats. Very fair price for what you get. 100% recommended!

These cutting boards were just what I was looking for. They are thicker than most other cutting boards I have found, so they don't fold over when you lift them to scrape food off. The bottom surface has good traction on the counter, so they don't slip around. I would purchase these again.

If you're looking for flexible cutting boards, look no further. Hard to imagine a flexible cutting board better...or even as good...as these. Absolutely excellent
